Chelmsford Road Connection
Works To Commence In Weeks
In the next few weeks, locals will notice a range of activities
near the roundabout at the junction of Kinsellas Road West
as a prelude to the road works that will connect Chelmsford
Road to Kinsellas Road West at the roundabout.
Simon Bennett of Moreton Bay Council’s Transport Planning
Group has advised that telecommunications, sewer and
electricity services will need to be relocated before the actual
road works.
Before any works being carried out, adjacent residents that
may be affected will receive direct advice from Council’s
Project Team. Construction will commence by mid-July and
should be completed by early 2022.
Mango Hill/North Lakes
Fire Station News
The Progress Association is anticipating that an announcement
is pending as to the purchase of a suitable site for the Mango
Hill/North Lakes Fire station that was promised by the State
Government in October 2020. Such an announcement, if
made, will give the local population the confidence that this
essential life-saving service will be in operation within this
term of government, 1924.
