We recently held our Local Government
elections, where all Moreton Bay City Councillors had a clean return to their 7 New Park in Rose Street West Arising
positions, apart from Division 8, where there was the appointment of now from Flood Buy-back Scheme
Cr, James Moloney, following the resignation of Cr Mick Gillam. Well done
to James on his appointment.
8 Rising Water Levels in Danzy
The only question left is whether Cr Jodie Shipway will remain our Deputy Buchanan Park
Mayor. This will be decided by Councillors at the first meeting, to be held on

Hill Awards
This month, we shine the light on our marine turtle friends, an animal that
is now endangered due to plastics in the ocean. A 2010 mishap involving 15 ANZAC Day Commemoration:
turtle hatchlings in Scarborough was the impetus for action from local Wednesday, 24th April Happy with your current
concerned residents, environmentalists and local council. There is an
upcoming family event planned at Scarborough, aimed at increasing Zande Law: Making Wills with
