The project consists of the design, development, construction

infrastructure, including change room facilities, lighting, fencing
and a covered walkway linking the pool to existing College
Infrastructure.
The $2 million grant for The Lakes College was previously
awarded to Mango Hill State Secondary College. The grant was
redirected to The Lakes College following a decision by the
Queensland Department of Education who advised construction
of a pool would leave the school without the capacity to expand
in the future.
