2022 - The Year Ahead




       To continue to be an active community working for the benefit of all, remains the key goal of the Mango Hill Progress Association
       in this our 36th Year.

       Some Goals (amongst others that arise) for Mango Hill Progress Association in 2022:

       General Goals:

       •   Maintaining a keen interest in the ever-changing landscape of an expanding Mango Hill & North Lakes community.
       •   Continuing our social program of “Skate Nights” (Family nights) each term and other events such as the Mango Hill Christmas
          Carols.
       •   Operating the Mango Hill Community Centre (Hall/Courts) on behalf of Moreton Bay Regional Council.

       Ongoing 2021 Goals which are in progress with stated outcomes:

       •   Anzac Ave / Lamington Connection:  To commence in late 2022
       •   Kinsellas Road West / Chelmsford Rd Connection:  Due for completion by June 2022
       •   Fire Station for Mango Hill / North Lakes:  Design plans reviewed
       •   Halpine Lake:  Follow up with Moreton Bay Regional Council on a Management Plan for Halpine Lake surrounds2022

       Goals in Progress with stated outcomes:

       •   Road Safety:  Follow up on various Road Safety issues submitted to Moreton Bay Regional Council
       •   Village Street Upgrade: Work with Council to plan & implement upgrade of Village streets. Council has indicated that Winifred
          Street will be the next street for upgrade.
       •   Continue to work with local community groups and business to expand opportunities for local facilities with specific reference
          to supporting the Save North Lakes Golf Course Group to work towards the compatible outcome of retaining existing golf
          course “greenspace” for all the community.
       •   Welcome new residents to our community and encourage their participation in community events.

       inspiration to how much can be achieved
       through a willingness to help your local
       community and work together as a Team.
