Here in Queensland,
we make a whole lot of great!
Local Employment firm Bright Group Australia are working one
on one with Manufacturing & Industrial firms here in the region,
implementing their Junior & School Leavers 2020 hiring programs.
Hiring a Junior or School Leaver supports local community and
small business in the fight to unite and recover from the pandemic
by building opportunity for our next generation.
To assist with the recovery from the impact of COVID-19, the
Australian Government is providing support to all employers who
engage a new Australian Apprentice.
Melissa Bright, Director of Bright Group Australia said “as our new
school leavers enter a volatile and unpredictable COVID-19 jobs
market this year in 2020 its important to continue to invest in local
business, to help create local jobs, traineeships & apprenticeship
opportunities”.
Any business or Group Training Organisation that engages an
Australian Apprentice on or after 5th October 2020 may be
eligible for a subsidy of 50 per cent of wages paid to an apprentice
between 5th October 2020 and 30th September 2021, to a
maximum of $7,000 per quarter.
This assistance will support 100,000 new apprentices across
Australia!
The Bright Team have eager local Junior’s & School Leavers ready
and waiting to join the workforce in Moreton Bay. If you’re a local
business and thinking of engaging an Apprentice contact the
Recruitment Team at Bright Group Australia on (07) 3886 2162 to
discuss your staffing needs.
During this challenging time, we’re reminding Queenslanders to
get out there and support local Business.
