Congratulations to Keith King For Queensland Day
                                       Community Champion Award!

Back in 2012, the house next door to Keith King’s North Lakes home was destroyed by
fire, despite the valiant efforts of Fire Fighters to who had to travel over from Petrie and
                                           Redcliffe.

Over the next decade, Keith’s persistent advocacy, both personal and through the
Mango Hill Progress Association, was instrumental in having the State Government
approve a site for a more local Fire Station to be constructed at the top end of
North Lakes in Steel Street at Narangba. When constructed this new Fire Station will
significantly reduce the travel time to arrive at future fire incidents, to help minimise
any loss of infrastructure and injury to people and or pets.

In addition, Keith King has been a tireless Volunteer for the Mango Hill Progress
Association which was delighted to nominate Keith to the State Member for Bancroft
as a Community Champion. THANK YOU KEITH!
