Natasha Rose is a local 19-year-old Australian
singer/songwriter following her passion and
dreams in the music industry. Natasha tells us her
story in her own words.

I am so excited to have finally released my debut single, ‘Lying
to Love’. This pop track emphasises the struggles of staying in a
relationship that has lost its passion and is no longer genuine.

Music has always been a huge part of my life and becoming a
singer has been my dream for as long as I can remember. I was born
in Brisbane and grew up in the Moreton Bay region. My family have
all sung together almost every night since I was born, and I would
always write poems or little songs for my parents. At 12 I began
singing lessons and was writing full songs, as well as taking every
opportunity to get on stage.

I love artists such as Christina Aguilera, Rihanna and Taylor Swift
as their music, emotion and raw talent is something I have always
aspired to and drawn inspiration from. Really, I love anyone who
has a strong artistic direction and a passion for creativity.

I am extremely grateful to have met and worked with some amazing
people in the music industry, many of whom have helped me with
starting my career as an independent artist.

Recently I have found a real love for connecting with the community
by doing live shows. In just the past year I have been fortunate
enough to be gigging all across the Moreton Bay region, including
at the Petrie Markets, Bite Markets, as well as venues like the North
Lakes Boardwalk and I have plans to expand into bigger venues
with my guitarist, Ronin, in the coming years.

Now that I have released my first song, I look forward to regularly
releasing singles and I aim to release my own EP by 2025. After years
of learning, listening, writing and experimentation I am so excited
to be embarking on this journey and following my dreams.
