Moreton Bay Central Fire Station Well Underway
Work is well underway up on Steele Street at Narangba as the
$6m Moreton Bay Central Fire Station rapidly takes shape.
Given an unfortunate house fire in the Mango Hill Village this
month, the completion of this hard-fought station cannot come
soon enough. Word from on-site Manager from Hutchinson
Builders indicates that the building component will be
completed by the end of September.
State Member Chris Whiting indicates that operational
readiness much depends on access to equipment and staffing
but is hopeful that the new Station will open by end of 2023/
early 2024.
