Jungle Adventure Play Centre for North Lakes

A $20m Adventure Park has been approved by Moreton Bay Council
on a 10000 sqm vacant property at the corner of Gregor St West and
       McLennan Street in North Lakes.

Soon, residents at the North Lakes Terrace Community will look out
over a vibrant Jungle Adventure indoor/outdoor adventure play centre,
that will include interactive climbing walls, a high ropes course, indoor
playgrounds, free fall platforms, ninja courses, a mini golf course, café,
licenced restaurant and a Tiki Bar.

Mayor Flannery said “The centre will deliver 100 jobs and $5.6 million
local economic activity annually by their third year of operation.

Jungle Adventure Play owner Lachlan Walker said, “we identified
Moreton Bay as a major growth region managed by a business-friendly
Council and chose the North Lakes location due to its strong family
demographic, which aligned with our company’s core values.

Deputy Mayor and local Councillor, Jodie Shipway said she couldn’t be
happier to welcome the new investor and the new centre to the region.
“The Jungle Adventure Play centre will be a great addition to Norths
Lakes and surrounds as it provides families with safe, friendly and sun
protected space. This centre will be enjoyed by local families while
helping to attract new visitors to the area,” Councillor Shipway stated.

Construction on the Jungle Adventure Play centre will start in 2023 and
       be completed by 2024.

Update on Eco-Motel in Mango Hill

As reported in the 2023 February issue of Best of Local Moreton Bay, a new Eco-Lifestyle Precinct on vacant land on the corner
of Anzac Ave and Light Horse Court in Mango Hill was approved by Council in November 2022.

Indications are that management is keen to work with the local community in delivering this new hotel and they look forward to
attending a meeting of the Mango Hill Progress Association later this year.

Construction is expected to commence in February 2024 and to be completed within 2 years. The developer is Maple Development
Group based in Brisbane CBD. Maple is confident that the project will deliver more than 150 jobs to the region.

This $70m project will include a 112 room hotel as a part of a concept with day spa, organic grocer, garden to table dining venues,
regular recreational events and food trucks, a naturopathy and a home and garden centre transforming the concept into a successful
       retail and tourism destination.
