Children Of Courage

The Lions Club of North Lakes Inc were very proud to
host our tenth Children of Courage Awards Ceremony at
The Lakes College on Saturday 12 October 2024.

The Awards were presented by Chris Whiting, State Member
of Parliament, our District Governor Richard Williams,
Principal of the Lakes College Nicole Gregory, Deputy
Principal of North Lakes State College Melissa Green.

The purpose of the Children of Courage Awards is to
recognize a special group of young Australians and their
families.

Ten children were presented with Awards. Each child
received a Certificate, a Medallion, and a Lions Koala to
cuddle.

Eight deserving children were in the Special Needs
Category who were acknowledged for their Outstanding Award Recipients:
