ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:

Thank you sincerely to each and every one of the wonderful crew from all around
Mango Hill and North Lakes who turned up with brooms, rakes, and “gernies” to assist
with the cleaning up of the Hall and Tennis Court on Tuesday & Wednesday.

It was wonderful to have some families along including the children “dig in and clean
up”. One Mum commented that “my children enjoy coming to Skate Nights and they
were keen to help clean up the courts today and they enjoyed doing so.”

It was hard work, but what was achieved on these days by local residents, members of the
North Lakes Lions Club and the cooperation of Council Officers was truly amazing.

Within 3 days the Mango Hill Tennis and Basketball court were back fully operational.

One young man was so keen to “throw ball” that he was on the Basketball court even as
workers were cleaning the other end of the same court!

It might have been good to have a few “users” helping out to clean the court before hand!
