Mango Hill Hall out of action
until further advised.
Despite the best efforts of Volunteers in the week following the hall inundation, Council building inspectors have closed the Mango
Hill Community Hall due to water damage to lower walls, cupboards and flooring.
Sadly, this has meant that a number of local community groups will be “on recess” or will have made alternative arrangements in the
period until Council can advise a date for full operations.
With the Federal election looming and the Mango Hill Community Centre being a long time Polling Booth, it is hoped that the
renovations to the hall will be completed expeditiously.
Village Anzac Commemoration
6.30pm - Wednesday 20th April
Mango Hill Community Centre
Despite the Community Hall not being
ready by 20th April, the annual Anzac
Commemoration will go ahead with 103
ACU confirming their attendance.
This year, the Progress Association will
be honoured to have Lt Colonel Brijinder
Sandhu (Ret) of the Indian Army as our
Guest Speaker. Brijinder is now a Mango
Hill resident - see further article on Sandhu
family on page 8.
Following this commemoration, the Progress
Association meeting will take place outdoors
(weather permitting).
Hand In Hand Disability Support
“Family Day Out”
On 19th March, the Hand In Hand Disability Support “Family Day Out” event at Mango Hill Community Hall went off with a bang in
brilliant sunshine, with a BBQ and bouncy castle for the little ones.
“We are so privileged to have been able to host this event here with the Mango Hill Progress Association, we will definitely be back
next year!”
Thank you to the team at Hand In Hand for organising such a wonderful event!
