ANZAC Day Commemoration:

Wednesday, 24th April - 6.30pm

In recent years, Mango Hill residents have gathered at the
Remembrance Stone in Danzy Buchanan Park (adjacent to the
tennis court) to hold a commemoration of the ANZAC Spirit,
as we remember the many who have served in and or have
supported those in theatres of War since 1915.

This years’ ANZAC Service will commence at 6.30pm on the
lawn outside the Mango Hill Community Hall, just prior to the
Progress Association meeting.

Once again, we are honoured to have the presence of 103 ACU
(Army Cadet Unit – Morayfield) and in addition, members of 126
ACU (Murrumba Downs) who will form a catafalque party on the
night.

We are delighted to have Trevor Ruthenberg to lead the service,
while Federal Member Luke Howarth, who has a son in the
Australian Army, will be attending and speaking on the “ANZAC
Spirit”.

The Progress Association welcomes all in the community to this
short service, which will be followed by light refreshments.

NOTE: The Mango Hill Progress Association encourages all in the
community to continue to support regional ANZAC Day Services
on the day, at Kallangur RSL - 1347 Anzac Ave, Kallangur.
